This indicates the platform hasn’t been actually integrated with AgEagle at best and, at worst, that the underlying software hasn’t been touched or updated in years since the acquisition. The FAQs and other links still reference Agribotix drones. However, FarmLens is still being operated using the URL. The FarmLens platform appears to have been acquired during AgEagle’s acquisition of Agribotix in 2018. Why use a screenshot of someone else's software (AgLeader SMS) to market the FarmLens product?Ī video on AgEagle’s YouTube shows a similar visualization, this time from competitor DroneDeploy’s app:ĭroneDeploy URL clearly visible in another video on AgEagle's YouTube Furthermore, the screenshot on the FarmLens page is actually of SMS, a GIS product made by AgLeader: I cannot find screenshots of these products anywhere. What about their analysis software? The website lists FarmLens and HempOverview as their two primary software products. They have not demonstrated drone platforms or flight software that would enable them to provide package delivery. Their marketing materials feature screenshots of software made by competitors and/or vendors. Their proprietary drones use open source hobbyist autopilots. TLDR: AgEagle’s drone tech is far less sophisticated than their competitors.
